Introduction of cassava starch centrifugal sieving machine
After crushing the cassava/potato/sweet potato, we can get crude starch slurry that contain fibers, proteins and other impurities. Starch centrifugal sieve is mainly used to remove big fiber. The working principle of starch centrifugal sieve is as follows: Crude starch pulp enters into the rotating conical sieve basket; By the effect of centrifugal force and continuous water spraying, soluble materials and fine starch grains go through the sieve, while bigger size fibers and residues stays on the surface of sieve and is discharged into collecting chamber. Therefore, starch and crude fibers is divided separately by the starch centrifugal sieve, getting starch slurry and impurities residue in different chambers.
Based on the production technology, starch centrifugal sieve is usually made up of 4 sets equipment: 3 ones used as extraction sieve and another one used as fine impurity separation. Compared with vritical centrifugal sieve, horizontal ones have the advantage of high starch extraction rate.
